The use of propeller boss cap fins (PBCF) on open B-series have been known to reduce wake effect behind the thus increase torque and thrust propeller, whilst Kaplan-series is successful improve quality flow around blades hence efficiency. current work carried out investigate combining PBCF ducted propellers discover further advantages using two types energy saving device (ESD) tools. study numerically computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approach which based Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes Equations (RANSE) together with k-epsilon turbulence modelling. Overall results show that combination can even thrust, torque, efficiency propeller.
